Michigan has anything to do with the fact that in recent years thye've
been pushed around by the WCHA, while the CCHA becomes increasingly
divided between the haves (MSU, Michigan, Lake State) and the have-nots
(Miami of Ohio, Ohio State, Bowling Green). Better to a big fish in a
small pond, perhaps?

I don't think that Bowling Green is a have not, they made the CCHA Final =
Four and just missed the NCAA's this year. Miami of Ohio has been a =
decent team the last couple of years and OSU is building a new Arena and =
seem to be moving in a positive direction. =20
