I noticed at the frozen four that the Michigan fans began chanting "We want Shegos" as the refs skated on for the start of the game (both nights). There were a few WCHA fans who started chanting "We want Buzzy" prior to the Finals. Can you imagine Buzzy and Shegos as refs AT THE SAME TIME? Then, let's have Cole as the linesman (with the authority to call penalties behind the play)! I figure that game would take about 5 1/2 hours to finish regulation, and each player would be well rested...2 minutes at a time. And the penalties would end up exactly equal (at 50 per side), except for the last 5 minutes of the game (assuming it was a one-goal game or tied), where the players would feel free to bring maces, battle-axes, and M-60s in place of hockey sticks onto the ice, knowing there wouldn't be a penalty. Steve G PS I know this is stupid, but caricaturizing is fun 8^) ------------- Original Text From [log in to unmask] (The College Hockey Discussion List), on 4/4/96 9:17 AM: On Wed, 3 Apr 1996, Charlie Shub wrote: > cole, thomas, and psmith on the lines had two difficult days in > cincinnati.
