I apologize if this topic has been covered (I just joined the list in
time for this year's playoffs) or is inappropriate for hockey-l, but I
was wondering: Which NHL teams have the most players that played in
college? Does anyone have the time or inclination to figure this out?

I know the Bruins are loaded. They played a line last week that
consisted of Beanpot alums Heinze (BC), McEachern (BU), and Donato
(Harvard). They also have Tim Sweeny and Joe Mullen (BC), Adam Oates
(RPI), and Don Sweeny (Harvard). In Providence (AHL), they have (or
at least had) John Gruden (UMD?), Mark Cornforth (Merrimack), Cam
Stewart (Michigan), and from LSSU, Clayton Beddoes and Blaine Lacher
(currently on loan to Cleveland of the IHL). That's seven on the NHL
roster that I know of (if you count Mullen, who is injured). Does
anyone know of a team with more?
