I haven't seen this posted, although it's several days old so I'll restate (in my words) what we have heard.
 
The WCHA has agreed to reduce the inter-conference schedule by four games, thus creating the opportunity for WCHA teams to play four additional games outside the conference. It will begin with the 1997-98 season. UAA has initiated plans to resume the Nissan Classic which was discontinued when we joined the WCHA.
 
Also, of interest, beginning in 96-97, UAA is trying to arrange one of it's  away games to be played in Anaheim, Calif. to stimulate area interest in college hockey in preparation for the Division I National College Hockey Championship which is to be played there in 1999.
