This is not necessarily true, apparently, as the committee said Monday in
the conference call.  It is possible that MSU will play in Albany even
though they host.  I did not hear the call so I do not know if more details
were given, but my guess is that the decision will be based upon projected
attendance with and without that team.  If the committee believes Munn will
sell about the same number of tickets with or without MSU, then they may
well send MSU to Albany if MSU does not rank high enough.
 
I believe the confusion on this issue stems from the fact that the host
teams were kept home in 94, and we mistakenly assumed this meant that all
host teams would always automatically stay home.
