That was the last year they allowed lining up more than a day in advance; in '90, Cornell Public Safety sent people home who tried to camp out, and the next year was the Great Crescent Massacre of '91 (Spencer Patterson *still* owes me a pen), followed by the Great Lynah Slumber Party of '92.
