OOO!  Good point!  Or even IF they stick a replacement in (vs giving Maine's
opponent a bye)!  Team #13 is on (will be on) more of a bubble than just
meets the eye!

PS  Sorry for not knowing from how high up in the Maine administration that
declaration came!  Wayne's explanation makes it seem that Maine and the NCAA
have a deal that NCAA won't hammer them if Maine does these things (...) and
that declining an invitation is one of them.

Yes, Miane's administration *may* or *will* decline invitation to the 12
team
tournament...but since they will be declining the invitation AFTER the fact,
won't the selection committee HAVE TO stick them in, wherever they normally
would have been seeded?  Shouldn't they have to release 2 brackets, the
first,
with Maine in it, and the second, after Maine OFFICIALLY declines the
invite?
It will be interesting to see if they "redeal" or just stick a replacement
in.
