Although Geoff Howell and I agree on many different topics, we'll probably always disagree over how Princeton/Brown games went. I have great respect for Geoff's hockey knowledge and I think he's a persuasive writer. I wish, however, that Geoff would acknowledge his biases as much as I acknowledge mine. His analyses contain as much interpretation as mine, and his facts can be as selective as mine. As to Adam Wodon, I have gained respect for the guy for standing by his sometimes unpopular opinions. As many of you know, I have a lot of of experience in this area :-) and I admire people who don't back down easily. Now all Adam has to do is to start working on his sense of humor. As to [Princeton defenseman] Jason Smith, you guys are right, I'd love to have him on my team. I like physical hockey. The ECAC needs more players like Jason, particularly in light of all the holding and stick work that goes on. I look forward to the next Brown-Princeton game, probably in New Jersey in late November. Until then let's collectively root for, in order: 1. the Ivy league schools still in the ECAC tournament; 2. the ECAC schools in the national tournament; 3. any eastern school (ECAC or Hockey East) in the national tournament.
