I wish ESPN would try to accommodate college hockey fans a little better
and schedule the national championship game for the evening rather than
early afternoon. i am not entirely positive that it is ESPN's doing, but
I would think so. If it were Saturday evening more people could get
together for the game. I would assume the reason behind this is that
there is a baseball game scheduled or something, but for one night, i
think the national spotlight should be on college hockey. sometimes i
laugh when ESPN brags about televising all of these national championship
games and they don't even cover any of them during the regular season.
last year i remember a couple games were not shown entirely on espn2,
they were cut out and delayed etc. i think they should let MSC, PSN or
whoever cover the games since they devote so much time to it during the
regular season.
