Ryan Hughes (Cornell, '93) was called up by the Boston Bruins yesterday, according to today's Boston Globe (but I believe it anyway). Ryan scored 50+ points as a member of the semi-legendary HAD line (with Trent Andison and Doug Derraugh) on the last Big Red squad to make the NCAA tournament ('91). He captained the '93 team, and is the most recent Cornellian to score 100 career points. (Mike Sancimino and Brad Chartrand each came within 5 points this year.) Greg Berge HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to [log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
