This was Princeton's worst-played game since a 6-1 loss to Union 2
months ago. They know it, and hopefully it doesn't carry over to the
playoffs because they had been playing much better than this.
I agree that RPI did nothing special in this game. They did
forecheck very well, but I absolutely agree that Princeton's passing
wasn't sharp, and a lot of potential quality scoring chances never
materialized. Tamburro, was solid, he was always in good postion, but
he never had to be spectacular.

Jim Konte has had trouble with this over the years, - more a mental
thing, I think -- he has always been, literally, awesome down the
stretch of seasons, and this year was is no exception, except, for some
reason, this weekend. Princeton was able to battle back to beat Union,
but it was too much to overcome Saturday. I have a feeling we'll see
the dominant Konte on Tuesday.

This was my first freakout, and I was underwhelmed. No offense, but it
didn't seem different than any other game I've been to at RPI. I mean,
the band is loud, and that horn is loud, but the crowd never seems to
be that loud.
