Okie dokie. In the Frozen Four we've got the top 4 seeds (bye-teams), who also happen to be the regular-season champions for their conferences. Given the size of college hockey, I'd bet this has happened before, but when? Also, has there been a final four where all 4 top seeds advance, with both #1 seeds facing each other in the final -- and the #1 ranked team winning it all? And a question slightly away from the subject -- has the NC$$ made public it's opinion of the #1 team in the country (heading into the tournament)? Colorado College seems to be at the top of more polls, but more of the "power-style" ratings put Boston U ahead... does it even matter to the tournament committee? greenie (regretfully stuck in Colorado for the finals... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) S P O O N ! ! (go BU) (go catamounts!) HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to [log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
