I was having this discussion with my uncle (a hoops fan).
I agree that although it would be nice to have more exposure...
paying thousands of dollars for rink side seats would be scandalous.
 
I like the ticket availability for most college games maybe
as much as a week ahead of time...  I also like paying face value
for tickets...  Be careful what you ask for... in then end if
hockey gets big we may have less of a chance to see the games we love
to yap about so much!!!
 
Also, look how tainted this (still) pure sport can become...
COMMERCIALISM from Hell (Anyone for the Tostitos Phinal Phour?),
betting in Las Vegas (currently from what I was told there is no 'line'
in sin-city for Div. I hockey..., and possibly an over inflated season
schedule (less school more games)...
 
Is it all worth it?  Or should we keep it smaller and (to a larger
extent than other sports) more "OUR" sport??
