Still waiting for Friday, when the fun begins, I have a new question.
 
On the College Hockey Message Board (part of the WWW homepage), I
saw along the lines of "my conference is better than your conference".
I think there's merit to that line of thinking - its naive to think
that all conferences are created equal every year.  Back to my point:
 
My question is can ECAC teams like St. Lawrence, Vermont and so on ever
make it into the top 5 in the computer rankings?  Looking at this year,
its fair to say, based on various rankings, that Princeton, Yale, RPI,
Union and Dartmouth are near the bottom.  I think Clarkson has been a
shining example over the years of what I'm saying - how can they get the
top-notch respect, by polls or rankings, when they play so many mediocre
teams?
 
Along those lines, when was the last time an ECAC team was #1 in one of
the computer rankings?  #2?  #3?
