Christian Sbrocca was named Hockey East co-Player of the Week along with BC
goalie Greg Taylor. Sbrocca, who tallied the game-winning goal last Friday
and assisted on the game-winner on Saturday, had three goals and three assists
for the weekend to move into a tie for third place in Hockey East scoring with
nine goals and fifteen assists in league competition. Taylor keyed BC's
sweep of Merrimack with a .932 save percentage and (I believe) 68 total saves.

In other UML news, goalie Martin Fillion got his first complete game off since
October 27th when Craig Lindsey played in UML's 8-4 win over Yale on Tuesday
night. Lindsey last started a game against UMass-Amherst on November 11th,
but required a "mentally unprepared" Fillion to fill in (poorly) when he got
the hook. Lindsey's only other game action since then was a relief performance
against Northeastern on January 5th, Fillion's only weak performance in ten
games this past month.

UML returns to action with a big Sunday night HE matchup at Providence, in a
game that will be shown on NESN.
