Yesterday, Travis Roy -- accompanied by his mother -- was transfered to the Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta to continue his rehabilitation. According to an article in the Boston Herald, he is expected to be at the center for two months. His family hopes that he will be home by the end of April in time for his sister's wedding. The BU team said goodbye to Travis on Sunday at BU Medical Center, and it was "an emotional afternoon." Travis also told the team that he is hoping to return to school for the fall semester. In a press conference yesterday, Travis' father, Lee, said that Travis' bed sore has healed, and he has regained some weight and has had some sensation in his right arm and abdomen. However, Travis "is still in need of a miracle or a new discovery of medical science to be able to walk again."
