I think that the key to UND winning last weekend's series was that they never let up the pressure. Whenever the Gophs went after the puck, there was always and UND player shadowing them. Whenever you have pressure like this you are going to limit the amount of shots taken therefore lowering their chances of scoring. Another thing that I was impressed by was the play of Teeder Wynne, boy can that man skate! Bonin is going to have to have a good run if he is going to overtake him for the scoring title. I think the Gophs are now looking ahead to tournament time instead of trying to capture the WCHA regular season title. There was a quote in today's Minneapolis paper with Bonin saying something to the effect of capturing the regular season title is out of their hands now (with CC six points ahead) and it's time for them to regroup and look forward to winning the WCHA tournament and beyond. This doesn't mean that they wont go all out against CC, but it is a shift in goals for the team. I look forward to the playing of "Battle Hymn" on Saturday night (I am knocking on my wooden desk now). Go Gophers!!
