Here are two of my favorites: 1989 NCAA Championship Game: Harvard 4 Minnesota 3 (OT) Hobey Baker laureates Lane McDonald and Robb Stauber...Ted Donato...Tom Chorske hitting the post in overtime...and Harvard's first NCAA championship in ANY sport. This one was a classic truly worthy of a championship game. Feb. 19, 1993 Hockey East game: Boston University 7 Maine 6 (OT) Talk about a comeback! The Terriers were down 6-2 in the second period against the then-"unbeatable" Black Bears. But BU hung in there, tied it up with minutes to spare, and won it in OT on a Mike Predergast goal, delivering Maine's only loss in their championship season. And it happened at Alfond, to boot!
