There was a question about red-shirt rules in relation to Miami
University goalie Kevin D. A player cannot be red-shirted and regain a
year of playing eligibility once he has played in ONE game. However, if
said player is injured for the duration of a season and has appeared in
less than 20 percent of his team's final number of games, he can petitio
for another year of eligibility. So, unless the Miami goalie is injured
and out for the season, he cannot receive a red-shirt credit once he
has seen any action.
