COMMENTS ======== Ohio State used their physical play to their advantage Friday, Kurt Brown played well for them, the referees were not a factor as they let the teams play, and Michigan's offense did not pass well all night long and looked sloppy. I truly felt the game was over with 2:15 left when OSU took a 4-2 lead and nine times out of ten Ohio State would have won since it is difficult to have to score two goals to tie; but Michigan showed why they are one of the elite by scoring two terrific goals to tie. Besides, coming out of there with one point should be satisfying as Ohio State deserved to win the game and if not for a great save or two from Marty Turco, this game could have been a shocking blowout. Ohio State did score quality goals and LaFrance looks like he could be something great for them. Ohio State played a game which another team plays in order to beat Michigan when they are on their game. That team is Lake Superior. The way the Buckeyes played tonight, they could be able to beat every team in the CCHA even the Lakers ESPECIALLY if any team is not on their game. Watch out, CCHA!! Ohio State is tough and will have a chance to win every game from now to the end. Ask Ron Mason and Red Berenson. This teaches a lesson to all CCHA fans: no game is a given in this league, NO GAME!! Anything can and will happen. =================================== Kenneth M.
