> First two Minnesota goals were scored in the first period at 00:15 > and 00:46!!! They led 4-0 after the first, and North Dakota only > scored in the waning moments of the third period to ruin goalie > DeBus's bid for a shutout. Ok, first of all, I show up 10 seconds late to the game (because some silly guy decided to park his car upside down on 35W) and hear this roar coming up the stairs. Ok, I missed one goal, I can live with that. Then I run to the nearest TV screen for the replay and what happens? Ok, now I'm pissed... On another note, did anyone watch the game on MSC last night? What was up with the 5 minute roughing call against Wasly in the second (?)? It appeared to me that the NoDak player drove him into the boards rather than Wasly dragging him into the boards. Just curious if there was any discussion on MSC. We folk in the studend section couldn't figure it out. Also, what's up with Ames calling icing with the Goph's a man short? Did I see his face turn beat red? I think so... Good humor to see a ref that knows he blew it big time. And, in this monday morning rambling of mine, how about Moen this weekend? He just did not look very good on Saturday. Almost every save he was looking behind him (and so was I). What are the odds of Woog going with DeBus full time? He has looked very, very good the last four games he's played. Ok, enough of that..Go Goph's! -------------------------------------------------------- Rob Zielinski....Blah HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to [log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
