11/4/95 - Minnesota 4, St Cloud 3

Once again, the Minnesota Gophers played two outstanding periods of hockey
and one horrible one. That, and St. Cloud came back to life in the third.

Every year, about this time, it seems that the Gophers fall into a
pattern. Last year, they refused to come out of the chute ready to go and
spent the whole night catching up. Granted, they were usually successful,
but still.
This year, the pick a period, any of the three, and just refuse to play.
Last night it was the third; two weeks ago, it was the second against CC.
When their good, they're very good. when they're not, it's a whole
different story. This is not the level of consistency I had expected with
so many returnees.
