I think many people were surprised by the 9-2 score.  Had the Illini
goalies played a little better (as it was they allowed 9 goals on 40
shots) it could easily have been a 5-2 or 4-2 game.

As Lynn Burke pointed out in her "NCAA vs. ACHA" posting, ACHA teams win
more than a small percentage of games against NCAA teams.  (Incidentally,
she missed some games: I played for Illinois when we beat Lake Forest
College in 1993.)
