While this is a tremendous acheivement, it is not to fair to compare how
long it took Bowling Green (or Wisconsin) to win 600 games with how
long it took teams like Harvard, Minnesota, BC, BU, Clarkson, MTU and
others to win 600 games. Most of those teams started playing hockey
between 1900 and 1925 and played only a handful of games per year,
not 30-40 games per year.

Bowling Greens winning percentage, on the other hand, is a valid
comparison, as is the number of games it took for them (i.e., 1022
games played). For example, according to a quick check, it took BU
55 seasons and 59 years (they did not play in 20-21, 21-22, 443-44
and 44-45) to win 600 games. But, BU won the 600 games in 1011 games
with a record of 600-379-32, a .609 winning percentage.
