Boyce was recently listed in a Burlington Free Press article, along with
other UVM alums, in a where are they know? type column. Boyce is still
playing pro hockey with an independent team whose name escapes me now.
From what I understand, None of the NHL clubs have a real interest in
Boyce, the former UVM captain who helped lead the Cats to the semis in
his senior year of 1988-89.

Boyce finished his career at UVM with around 200 points and set an
interesting little mark by being one of the ECAC's most agressive players
and hardest hitters while only serving five minors in over thirty games
during the 87-88 season. The last time I had seen Boyce's name in print
before the aforementioned article, was when he appeared at a card show
for autographs a couple of years ago in South Burlington. Ian is a great
guy and I wish him success.

Other notable former Cats still playing the game at some level include:

goalie Mike Millham (European Leagues), Jim Larkin,F;  Mike McLaughlin,f;
Christian Soucy,g; Mike Larkin,d; Aaron Miller,d; Nicholas Perreault, f.

Former UVM star Toby Ducolon now coaches the BFA-St. Albans high school
hockey team. And former defenseman Jeff Schulman now works in the UVM
athletic department.

Let the Zebra flinch,
