I hope that he plays Junior, and not minor pro for his sake. Not too many people can come out of college hockey before their Junior or Senior year and play minor pro, against people who are much much older than you are. Even seniors and juniors have problems playing pro (look at Steve Shields!). He did excell at michigan, but I think that if he stayed he could have been a Holzinger type player trhoughout his 4 years of hockey here. I don't know what's better -- learning how to dominate college hockey (a la holzinger) for four years, or going to the minors and not doing to well. Junior would be the best compromise. Then again, perhaps he's an overage player? --- Eric Rickin ([log in to unmask]) | University of Michigan (December) 1995 PGP Public Key Available | http://www.umich.edu/~erickin Biochemistry Central: http://www.biology.lsa.umich.edu HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to [log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
