Well maybe I misunderstood you, but a Preseason Poll is what you expect will be the standings of the teams at the end of the year. Technically is the Preseason Poll is correct, there won't be any changes, and the same ranking would be at the end of the season. If you expect the Lakers to finish first in the CCHA then your Preseason Poll should reflect this. I have always thought of a Preseason Poll as what you personally think the standings will be at the end but you make this poll before the season actually starts so you have no idea how the teams are except through player rosters and past performance. SO what I guess I am saying is that if you expect the Lakers to be #1 in the CCHA in the end then your Preseason Poll should be the same. The Preseason Poll is just your prediction of the future and you predict in the future that Lakers will be #1 Well, I'm probably pretty repetitive but I'm sorry if I misunderstood what a Preseason poll is. \\\|/// \\ ~ ~ // (/ @ @ /) +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~oOOo-(-)-oOOo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+ | Vijay Saluja :: Webmaster | | [log in to unmask] (Preferred) :: Visit my home page at : | | [log in to unmask] :: http://vijay.lssu.edu | | Lake Superior State University :: http://www.lssu.edu | |_____________________________________________________________________________| On Tue, 12 Sep 1995, David DeWayne Bricker wrote: > > Vijay, the original post was a PRESEASON post and I don't think the > Lakers will be ranked too high.
