I just read a post, and the writer said he saw many players play an extra season (post-graduate) at New England Preps. For those who don't follow high school/prep school hockey too closeley - it is quite normal. As a matter of fact, amny prep schools have students go back a year in school if they are not seniors. The prep school competition it top notch - the education is far supererior as well. The coaching is also terrific at the prep school level. Greg Carvel (SLU) was mentioned in this post - he was a terrific player while in college (he still is - he's gone around me enough times in mens league this season!! :) ) and is a real good hockey guy - and he coaches JV and 3rd at Canerbury School in New Milford, CT. Darrin Lucas Varsity Head Coach Immaculate HS Danbury CT HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to [log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
