The following was printed in this past Friday's Lowell Sun, and is pretty much just a re-hash of what has already been discussed on Hockey-L. It's Official: Bullock is a Spider. =================================== LOWELL - Greg Bullock, a Hobey Baker finalist last season, officially signed a two-year contract with the San Francisco Spiders of the International Hockey League yesterday, the club announced. The deal was reported in THE SUN last week. The All-American, who led the UMass-Lowell hockey team in scoring during both his seasons at the school, could earn as much as $175,000 over the life of the contract, according to sources. Bullock, a native of Cambridge, ONT, led the River Hawks with 25 goals and 40 assists for 65 points last season. ======================= From what I've heard Greg's contract has an escape in it if he is ever offered an NHL contract. - Steve
