I think the key word here is teams. With the pushback of players to Age 19 for the draft, it will bring more scouts to the games themselves to prospect the players that every team knows about. For example take Boston College and Marty Reasoner, Jr. With Marty not opting in this year, he is sure to bring a few scouts with him to the BC games. Not only will this help his fellow Eagle teammates, but he will also help that evening's opposition. WHile Marty is a sure fire late first or early second rounder, some of his teammates who have not been seriously considered will garner the eyes of the scouts who wish to draft Marty. While the benefit is not necessarily with the player who is not drafted going into his freshman season it will be beneficial to the others on his team who have not been "noticed" yet. ***************************************************************************** * Jayson Moy RPI '89 '93 * One of the Voices of Rensselaer Engineer * * [log in to unmask] * Hockey, Baseball, Football, and Basketball * * The "Asian Invasion" * on Crystal Clear 91.5FM WRPI, Troy *EASM* * ***************************************************************************** *"I've come to know the cold, I think of it as home, when there ain't enuf * * of me to go around, I'd rather be left alone." - W.A.R. * * * *"When I find all of the reasons, maybe I'll find another way, find another * * day, with all the changing seasons of my life, maybe I'll get it right * * next time." - W.A.R. * *****************************************************************************
