THE BROWN HOCKEY CLASS OF 1999:
 
Defense - TOM RYLES (5" 11", 175 lbs.)
Dubuque Fighting Saints, United States Hockey League;  tallied 4 goals and
11 assists last season; played for the same team as Brown's 1995 Ivy League
Rookie of the Year, defenseman Jimmy Andersson.
 
Right Wing - PAUL GIBLIN (5' 11", 180 lbs.)
Hotchkiss School; lead his team in scoring as a senior with 33 goals and 35
assists.
 
Center- JADE KERSEY (5' 11", 175 lbs.)
Estevan Bruins; tallied 29 goals and 46 assists last year;  played on the
same team that Brown's junior defenseman, Bill McKay, played for.
 
Left Wing - BRIAN SALETTA (6' 2", 190 lbs.)
Noble & Greenough School; posted 14 goals and 16 assists as senior captain
of both hockey and football; was also recruited to play football at Brown.
 
Center - ADRIAN SMITH (5' 11", 180 lbs.)
Newmarket 67's; registered 25 goals and 53 assists last season.
 
Left Wing - DUSTIN SVENTY (5' 11", 175 lbs.)
Compuware Ambassadors; scored 31 goals and 29 assists during the 1994-95
season; played in the program that Brown's senior winger, Brian Jardine,
came from.
 
This group joins sophomore forward Brent Hoiness (5' 11", 186 lbs.),
Saskatoon Contacts, Midget AAA Hockey League, and sophomore defenseman Bob
Quinnell (6" 1", 188 lbs.), Chilliwack Chiefs, British Columbia Junior
Hockey League, who will be ready for play beginning in the 1995-96 season.
