Scott,

This is for Scott and any other LSSU fans wondering about Blaine Lacher's
perfromance in the B's 5-0 shelacking by the Devil's. To put it plain and
simple the Bruin's looked like they were tring to phone this one in. Blaine
did not look that bad. The first goal was a power play goal that went in off
of Ray Bourque. The next two goals were 2 on 1 that were executed perfectly.
The fourth (and the one Blaine got pulled after) was a shot from the point
that was created by a face-off win by the Devil's. This shot was also
defelected by a Bruin's defenseman (off Don Sweeny's skate) that Blaine really
did not have a chance at. Being from Maine and a die hard Bruin's fan for many
years I was very disappointed in most of the teams play. This loss was a team
loss and no matter who was in goal the outcome would have been the same. There
were a few bright spots in some players play and as far as I am concerned one
of them was Blaine Lacher. I think Sutter pulled Blaine to help keep his
confidence and I hope he starts him tonight!! Sorry for the rambling and
small college hockey content but the question was asked and I did not see any
answers to it yet.
