Yesterday's broadcast was as fine an advertisement for the sport as we could have hoped. Thoroughly exciting, great ambiance, great game. Those who carp about Bob Norton and Tom Mees don't know how good you've got it. Keep up the details, Bob, there's a bunch of us folks who love that stuff. (And we're the ones who pay the bills for all the ".edu" types.:-) I only heard one "Boston U." out of Tom Mees, but so what if he had said ten? Is it possible that all you budding journalists, who get so cranked up about style book infractions, as a group are more anal retentive than us engineers? Who'd a thunk it??!!:-) Lighten up and get with the big picture. It was a great afternoon. -- Dick Tuthill P.S. Did anyone notice the forecheck hit that Shermerhorn put on a BU player late in the first? All the way from the far point to the near corner, at full chat, with no change in direction. No call. For those who wondered a couple weeks ago what I meant about charging calls, *that's* what we're used to in D-3 these days. Thus it came as a great surprise to see charging called in the HE tournament.
