I suppose. But as is often mentioned, by not calling penalties the official is affecting the play *just* as much as if he were to send someone off. A guy's on a breakaway and he gets hauled down. By not calling a penalty, isn't play affected? If I remember correctly, smoeone in one of the OTs got massively hauled down on a 2-on-1. because he was hooked, he was not able to get a stick on the centering pass. Are you saying that didn't affect the play? Of course it did. I reluctantly concede that in OT, it might be better if the refs only called the obvious stuff, but IMO, they have to at least call the obvious stuff. >It's going to be a great game today. Also, amidst all the complaints (legit IMO) about ESPN, I'd also like to congratulate Maine and Michigan for providing us one of the most thrilling games I suspect most of us have ever seen.
