Joubert, O'Sullivan and Parker off to the World Championships Jacques Joubert and Chris O'Sullivan missed the BU Hockey Banquet on 28 April, as they accepted offers to play for the U.S. at the World Championships in Sweden. They join former Terrier teammate Mike Pomichter, who is also playing for the U.S. Rich Brennan was also invited to play for the US, but he declined the offer, as he wants finish his college education and graduate this spring with the rest of his class. Jack Parker flew over to Sweden on Monday 29 April, after the BU Hockey Banquet, to join the team as an assistant coach. Two other former Terriers are also playing in the World Championships. Tom O'Regan, who played for BU from 1979-83 and was co-captain of the 1982-83 team, is also playing for the U.S., while Adrian Aucoin, who played at BU for the 1992-93 season, is playing for Canada. As a side note, I have greatly expanded the BU hockey site over the past three weeks. Major additions were made in the past week. So if you have the time and interest, visit to see what's new. -- Sean Pickett Go Boston University Terriers 1995 NCAA, Hockey East and Beanpot Champions BU Hockey: http://www.tiac.net/users/spickett/hockey.html E-mail: [log in to unmask]
