BAUER/CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Brendan Morrison, a sophomore center
from the University of Michigan, has been selected the Bauer/CCHA Offensive
Player of the Week for his performance the weekend of March 3-5, 1995.  He
played junior hockey for the Penticton Panthers (British Columbia Junior
League).
 
Morrison, a 5-11, 176-pound native of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, had six
points (one goal, five assists) in Michigan's 10-2 victory at Ohio State on
Sunday.  He assisted on the Wolverines first three goals and tallied Michigan's
fifth goal.  The six-point outburst secured the league scoring title for
Morrison.
 
COOPER/CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Brian Renfrew, a senior goaltender
from Western Michigan University, has been selected the Cooper/CCHA Defensive
Player of the Week for the weekend of March 2-4, 1995.  He played junior hockey
for the Kalamazoo Junior K-Wings of the NAJHL.
 
Renfrew, a 5-9, 160-pound native of Fairbanks, Alaska, stopped 31 of 32 shots
(.969 saves percentage) including double-digits saves in the second and third
periods in Thursday's 5-1 win over Illinois @ Chicago, while in Saturday's 2-1
victory over Notre Dame, he stopped 19 of 20 shots (.950 saves percentage).
Renfrew currently leads all CCHA goaltenders in minutes played with 2,236:21
and saves with 881.  He is second in wins with 17.
