Like a lot of you I was very upset at ESPN and I still am. Some of you posted that we should be glad to at least have seen part of the game. Many of the news media are calling this the "Greatest Game in College History" it certainly is the most exhusting game I've ever seen and rates side by side with last years Stanley Cup and the 6th game of the 1975 World Series between the Red's and Red Sox (Carlton Fisk's homer run). I think if ESPN was not committed to showing the whole game then don't carry it at all. Let someone else carry it! My hat goes off the Michigan! Your team played great it had to be gut wrenching to watch and for the players to lose once again 4-3 to Maine in OT. Both teams game 150% no 500% in this game. On the Late new Walsh stated that the winning goal game as the result of a play on the face off Maine had never used before but picked up from Michigan in this game. The announces said it was a face off break-down, but Walsh said the play was diagramed based of what he had seen Mich playing several times on face offs vs Maine. Maine and Michigan are to great teams and had the honor to play in one of the Greatest games in College hockey. Michigan hold your head high! As a Maine fan I'll be hoping Maine knocks off BU, but all season long I stated this is BU's year. They have played like a team on a mission and I hope the game is as entertaining as the Mich/Maine game. BU has yet to beat Maine (unless you count shootouts... I don't) Part of the reason I think BU has had trouble with Maine is they don't seem to respect Maine... I'm not taling fans, I'm talking players and coaches. BU knows they have a better over all team and more name players, I think it's hard for them to give on Ice respect. Maine has great depth, very little difference from line one to line 4. As much respect their defence gets in has weaknesses after Tory and Imes. White had a great game for Maine on D and seemed to see more action then in any other game this year. I think BU will have their hands full if Maine plays like the did in the last two game. One last point, Maine is losing only "3" seniors and other then Imes no impact player. They also have several top flight kids coming in so win or lose this Maine team will be back next year even stronger! Regards, Nick GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
