Well, I have to correct myself once again. Before I attended the games in Lake Placid, I would have liked to see the games in Albany instead. (Probably because I didn't have a hotel and had to drive or ride back & forth between LP & Albany) Anyway, I thought the atmosphere was fabulous. Each team had their loyals show up, (my kudos to all Princeton fans who made it!) the town was flooded with fans, and overall, I liked the town. Granted, I wouldn't want to live there (no offense to North Country residents, it's just not my place to live), but it's a GREAT place to visit! Lake Placid is mostly a tourist-type of town, given the facilities up there. But, for those who didn't live in the North Country for an extended period of time, Lake Placid is the perfect place to get away for a weekend to see the sights, go luge & bobsledding, and -- here's a thought -- watch some good college hockey!! Even though it's a 2 hour drive from Albany, a day's drive from Princeton :-), or even longer from Boston, I think it's worth it to make the trip just one weekend out of the year to see some quality hockey. I hope it stays up there for a while. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= + Andy Weise Let's Go Tech!!
