After opening the new year going 3-1 on the road, the Brown Bears have hit
the skids, getting only one of a possible four points this weekend and seeing
their current non-winning streak stretch to five games. Dartmouth is also
continuing their slide, as the weekend's pair of home losses makes it ten
straight games for the Big Green without a win -- including nine consecutive
losses. At the other end of the spectrum, Clarkson's three-point weekend
extended their unbeaten string to eight games, and the Golden Knights now
have sole possession of first place. Both Cornell and Princeton recorded
road sweeps this weekend; it was the first in three years for the Big Red,
and the Tigers' win over the Crimson was their first at Harvard since the
1980-81 season. It was also the first time Harvard has lost by more than
one goal to an ECAC opponent since a 3-1 loss to Brown in the 1993 ECAC
semifinals -- a streak of 40 games.
