I see from Mike Machnik's post that MC goalie Martin Legault received the second star of the game. That was well deserved noting the low scoring game and that he stopped 28 of 31 shots. My question is : Why didn't BU goalie Derek Herlofsky receive a star? He stopped 20 of 21 shots (over .950) for a better save percentage than Legault. He let in only one goal, which Mike stated was more of the defense's fault. Derek was also the winning goalie. IMO, not only should have Derek Herlofsky received a star, but one higher than Legault. Whoever "gave out" the stars decided to give the third star to BU's Chris Drury, who only had one goal. If I was choosing: 1. Jacques Joubert BU (2-0,2) 2. Derek Herlofsky BU (20 of 21, 1 GS) 3. Martin Legault MC (28 of 31, 3 GS) Last night both goalies deserved a star! This year may be a dissapointing one for Herlofsky, but he was up to the task last night. Brian Gentry BU '95 Go Terriers! The Beanpot is Home! Now for the HOCKEY EAST championship repeat! P.S. Who goes about choosing the stars of the game?
