According to a front page story in today's Boston Globe Fleet Bank and
Shawmut Bank have agreed to a merger.  So, before it even opens the Shawmut
Center will have a new name!  According to the article it will likely be
called Fleet Forum.
 
Personally, I think I will start to call it the New Boston Garden again.  :-)
