Princeton travels to Cambridge Mass and Providence RI for games with ECAC rivals Harvard and Brown this weekend. Princeton needs at least a split to stay in the hunt for a first round bye in the ECAC tourney. Princeton began it's ECAC season losing to these two teams at Baker Rink. Princeton outplayed Brown for most of the game, only to give up three third period goals, losing 5-4. The Harvard game was almost the exact opposite of the Brown game. Princeton spotted Harvard to a 5-1 lead, and then made a desperate comeback attempt late in second and into the third period which ultimately fell short, 6-4. Today's Daily Princetonian had an article about Jr Defenseman Brent Flahr. After missing the second half of last season with a shoulder injury, Flahr has really come on strong this year. He is third leading scorer on the team with 17 points, and his incredible +13 leads the team in plus/minus. In my opinion, Flahr and Jr defenseman Barrie Miller are the two most improved Tiger players this year. Chris Dietrich, Princeton U.
