A standing room only crowd that included Governor Whitman saw Princeton
lose to Vermont saturday night, 5-3. Princeton's unbeaten streak ends
at 10 games. The Tigers break for exams and return to the ice on
January 28th at Yale. Vermont simply had too much speed for the Tigers
Princeton led 3-1 after the first period, with Sr Ian Sharp getting one
goal and Jr Jonathan Kelly scoring two, giving him three for the weekend.
Princeton kept a 3-1 lead for most of the second period, but Vermont
scored two quick goals with 1:08 left in the second. Vermont scored again
early in the third, and got an ENG at the end of the period.

For the second night in a row, Princeton's offense could not get a goal
late in the game, despite numerous chances. Too many missed passes.
Princeton's defense played well, except for the end of the second and
early in the third. Konte had a solid game in goal, but was the victim
of some defensive lapses.
