Providence improved to 6-4-3, while the White Mules dropped to 6-3. The Friars outshot Colby 39-12, including 19-2 in the first period during which Providence took a 3-0 lead on goals by Jen Mills, Wagner and Steph O'Sullivan. Providence made it 6-0 on second-period goals by Alana Blahoski and Wagner and a third-period goal by Amy Carlson , before Colby's Ann Mortensen converted Cary Charlebois' assist 12:50 into the final period.
