BAUER/CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Mike Morin, a senior left wing from
Lake Superior State University, has been selected the Bauer/CCHA Offensive
Player of the Week for his performance the weekend of January 27-28, 1995.  He
played junior hockey for the Melville (Saskatchewan) Millionaires of the SJHL.
 
Morin, a 6-0, 185-pound native of Melville, Saskatchewan, had six points (four
goals, two assists) in Lake Superior's two victories.  In Friday's 6-3 win
against Notre Dame, Morin scored three goals (two power play goals and the game-
winning goal), while in Saturday's 7-1 victory over Miami, he had three points
on one goal and two assists.
 
COOPER/CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Matt Eldred, a sophomore defenseman
from Bowling Green State University, has been selected the Cooper/CCHA
Defensive Player of the Week for the weekend of January 27-28, 1995.  He played
junior hockey for Culver (Indiana) Military Academy.
 
Eldred, a 5-10, 185-pound native of Rocky River, Ohio, had two points (one
goal, one assist) in Bowling Green's 7-5 victory over Illinois @ Chicago, while
helping the Falcons' kill six of seven Flames' power plays.  He assisted on
Bowling Green's first goal of the third period and scored the game-winning
goal.  His game-winning goal was his second career goal and first game-winning
goal.  He was on the ice for three of Bowling Green's even-strength goals.
