Over the holidays, ECAC teams posted a combined 13-10 record in various holiday tournaments, highlighted by a red-hot Princeton team dealing top- ranked Maine their first loss of the season in the finals of the Dexter Shoe Classic, as well as St. Lawrence going 3-0 (well, 2-0-1) in the Saskatchewan Tournament and Vermont and Dartmouth facing off for the Auld Lang Syne championship. The ECAC as a whole now has a non-league record of 38-27-3, with a record of 30-26-2 (0.534) against other Division I teams -- not bad for a league that usually winds up with a non-league record somewhere around 0.400.
