Don't know much more than this, but the IU Hockey Club thrashed Purdue this weekend up in Carmel on the Boilers' home ice (not kidding)...get this...14-1 and 11-1. Alex Kyrias and Mike Wilson split time in net Friday, with Wilson giving up the lone goal, and seldom-used Tony Dilts played the whole game Saturday. They did it w/o captain and leading scorer Bryan Lore, who has a sprained elbow...but Jim Viscardi and Derek Perkins, as well as everybody else, picked up the slack in the poundings. IU is now 8-2 and 4-0 in the MCHL. The record stacks up like this: Notes 10/28 KENTUCKY W 8-3 Kyrias suffers concussion 10/29 KENTUCKY W 6-2 Chris Quimby natural hat trick in 3rd 11/4 @ Ohio L 2-13 Score was close after 10 minutes. 11/5 @ Ohio L 0-15 Ouch! 11/11 ILLINOIS STATE W 13-3 9 goal second period.
