I would imagine that Mercyhurst is, in fact, a good team. However ...
(gosh, what a surprise that there's a "however" ;-))

As has been pointed out time and time again, "it's early in the year,"
"It's too soon to predict how things will turn out," etc.

And, most importantly from a "Point" of view, UW-Stevens Point was off
their game last night. The shifts appeared to be too long "for the
conditions" (whatever they were) and Point appeared to be skating through
Jello on occasion. The fact that finals started this morning probably
didn't help matters, along with the fact that our arena is undergoing
some construction ... adding seats, additional bathrooms, satellite
concession stand ... and there were two plumbing & heating trucks pulled
up outside when we got to the game. Someone said it had something to do
with the hot water heater, but who knows.

Well, with game time about 1.5 hours away, it's about time to get
organized and get ready to help coordinate the UWSP Blue Line Club's World
Famous 50-50 Raffle. (grin & greed)

Info later.
