Today's St. Paul paper also notes that the Gophers have received a verbal
commitment from Wyatt Smith for the early signing period that begins today.  The
Gophers' early signees now stand at:
     Wyatt Smith, center, Warroad HS
     Erik Rasmussen, center, St. Louis Park HS
     Mike Anderson, wing, Bloomington Jefferson HS
     Billy Kohn, defenseman, Roseville HS, St. Paul Vulcans
