This past week, there were 5 games played between ECAC teams and HE teams. ECAC teams won all five: 11/01/94 Vermont 4 at Boston College 2 NC 11/04/94 Colgate 5 at Mass Amherst 1 NC 11/05/94 Boston College 4 at Dartmouth 5 NC 11/05/94 Union 6 at Mass Amherst 3 NC 11/06/94 Yale 4 at Northeastern 2 NC Thus far, ECAC teams are 12-4-0 against HE teams, GF-GA 65-47. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues the rest of the season. Almost every year since HE was formed, HE has dominated the ECAC pretty significantly in nonleague competition. But the exact opposite has happened through the first few weeks of 1994-95. Here are the HE team records against the ECAC, with games vs ECAC teams remaining: HE VS ECAC W-L-T GF-GA REMAINING BC 0-3-0 8-12 @RPI, Yale, Harv-T BU 1-0-0 5-1 @Harv, Prin-T, Verm, Dart, (Yale-T), (Harv-T) Maine ----- --- (Prin-T), (Colg/Prin-T), (@RPI-T), SLU, SLU Mass Amherst 0-2-0 4-11 Prin Mass Lowell 0-2-0 4-8 RPI, Clarkson-T, (Colgate-T), Yale, @Brown Merrimack 0-2-0 5-8 @RPI-T UNH 1-1-0 6-7 Clarkson, @Harv, Colgate-T, (Clarkson-T), @Brown NU 1-1-0 8-5 Dart, (Harv-T) PC 1-1-0 7-13 @Dart-T, (Verm-T), Clarkson, Clarkson, @Brown total 4-12-0 47-65 Opponents in parentheses are possible opponents depending on tourney outcomes.
